Mole Day '99

On Friday, October 22, 1999 we celebrated Mole Day at our school. Since school was not in session on the official Mole Day (23rd) we had have to celebrate a little early.

Students in Mr. Flint's chemistry classes can make moles using the mole pattern available in class. (It will available on the web to print out soon.) Extra credit moles are worth between 5 and 10 points added to your final grade. If you make a standard size mole that is pretty plain it is worth 5 points. Extra large or extra small moles are worth more. Eyes, feet and a tail add more as well.

If you are artistic then a drawing using the official Mole Day mascot is acceptable as well. BE CREATIVE!

We will do a laboratory experiment during that day so bring a calculator to class with you.

You can bring in Mole Day related food items such as: cakes in the shape of a mole, a mole house (gingerbread house), or any other creative mole-related food item. Party items are worth 5 points.
