Mole Day Pictures: Mole Food, Moles, Mole Day Lab

Read about this year's theme at the National Mole Day Foundation web site.

On Friday, October 21, 2005 we celebrated Mole Day, a holiday celebrated by chemists around the world. Mole day was actually on October 23rd but didn't have school that day so we had to celebrat a little early.

Students in Mr. Flint's chemistry class made moles using the mole pattern available in class. Extra credit moles are worth between 5 and 15 points. Extra large or extra small moles are worth more. Every mole must have a theme!

If you are artistic then a drawing using the official Mole Day mascot or this year's theme drawing is acceptable as well. BE CREATIVE! Click for a larger Pi a la Mole graphic.

We did a laboratory experiment on mole day.

Students brought Mole Day related food items such as cakes in the shape of a mole and other creative mole related food items to class. Party items were worth 5 points.
