    • Rotation, revolution, axis, linear speed, tangential speed, rotational speed
    • Use Earth as example of rotation and revolution - rotates once per day (rotational speed) and revolves around the Earth once per year.
    • Calculate Earth's rotational speed about its axis (earth's radius is 3956 mi and rotational period is 24 hr) and about the sun (earth is 93 million mi from the sun and revolutional period is 8766 hr).
  • Centripetal force and centrifugal force
    • Demonstrate cup on board
