Disclaimer
The history of science and physics is closely tied in to many religious, political, economical and social insitutions, people and events. The purpose of this course is not to espouse physics as the only way to perceive the universe or understand truth. What is most important is that you understand we approach physics from an objective standpoint and only use emperical data and good logic to draw conclusions about the physical nature of the universe.

The history of mathematics and physics is usually told from a Eurocentric point of view. Many other cultures around the world concurrently developed mathematical and scientific ideas but are rarely given credit. In the tradition of modern physics instruction I will teach many things from the Eurocentric point of view. (i.e. Newtonian Mechanics, Keplerian Mechanics, Greek mathematics, etc.)
